This Returns & Refunds Policy explains how EXPANSION TRADE LTD (“we,” “us,” or “our”) manages product returns.

Return Window

  • Customers may request a return within 30 days of receiving the product.

  • To start a return, email us at support@carscanusa.com with your order number, product details, and reason for return.

  • Returns sent without prior authorization may be refused.

Return Shipping Costs

  • Customers are responsible for return shipping costs (unless the return is due to our error or a defective product).

  • Use a trackable shipping service and keep proof of postage.

Inspection Period

  • Once we receive your return, we have 14 days to inspect the item and confirm whether it qualifies for a refund.

  • We will notify you by email of the approval or rejection of your return.

Return Conditions

Returned products must be in unaltered commercial condition, including:

  • Unused and like new condition.

  • Original packaging and accessories (manuals, cables, cases, inserts).

  • All protective seals, stickers, and screen protectors intact.

If these conditions are not met, we may refuse the return or apply a restocking fee (up to 15%).

Non-Returnable Items

  • Activated Devices/Accounts: Products with bundled licenses or accounts are non-returnable once activated or logged into, as the license term begins and cannot be reset or transferred.

  • Tampered Packaging: Items with broken seals, removed stickers, or missing protective films.

  • Used or Damaged Products: Products showing signs of wear, scratches, or missing parts.

  • Sale/Discounted Items: Products sold as “Final Sale” or at promotional discounts are not eligible for return.

  • Custom Orders/Bundles: Special configurations or bundles cannot be returned.

Damaged, Defective, or Incorrect Items

  • Report any issues within 7 days of delivery by emailing support@carscanusa.com.

  • Provide order details and photos or videos of the problem.

  • We will arrange repair, replacement, or refund at no additional cost.

Refund Method & Timing

  • Approved refunds are issued to the original payment method.

  • Please allow 5–10 business days after approval for your bank or card issuer to credit the amount.

  • Original shipping charges are non-refundable, except when the return is due to our error.

Exchanges

We currently do not process direct exchanges. To exchange an item, please request a refund (if eligible) and place a new order.
